Who we are

Tetbury Area Youth and Community Trust was set up to replace the council youth service which was closed in 2011. We aim to provide a safe environment with fun activities for young people aged between 11-18 years in the Tetbury Area. For young people we offer four weekly drop-in youth sessions, mentoring, and a variety of short term projects. Please see our ‘What’s on’ page to see what activities we are able to offer at the moment.

Tetbury is a great place to live, however the services and activities for young people are limited. We want to offer recreational, educational and cultural experiences that will elevate young people's life chances, help them reach their potential, as well as further developing our support services for young people who are struggling to navigate the adolescent years and support for their families. We are proud of what we achieve with limited resources and are committed to working and developing strong relationships with other agencies in the area such as Tetbury Town Council, Cotswold Youth Network, Westonbirt Arboretum, Sir William Romney School, the library, the local PCSO’s and others.

In 2020 we have begun expanding the supportive arm of our charity by raising the awareness of the mental health needs of our children and young people. We believe that our children and young people deserve support and that if the whole community comes together, we can help fill the gaps that exist for our youth.
