Who we are
Tetbury Area Youth and Community Trust was set up to replace the council youth service which was closed in 2011. We aim to provide a safe environment with fun activities for young people aged between 11-18 years in the Tetbury Area. For young people we currently offer twice weekly drop-in youth sessions, mentoring, and a variety of short term projects. Additionally, we run a Job Club for any age, which provides additional support for all who seek to secure employment or anyone who needs practical support for universal credit or any other applications e.g. home seekers.
Tetbury is a great place to live, however the services and activities for young people are limited. We want to offer recreational, educational and cultural experiences that will elevate young people's life chances, help them reach their potential, as well as further developing our support services for young people who are struggling to navigate the adolescent years and support for their families. We are proud of what we achieve with limited resources and are committed to working and developing strong relationships with other agencies in the area such as Westonbirt Arboretum, Romney House Surgery, Sir William Romney School, the library, the local PCSO’s and others.
