What is a friendship café?
The mission of the Friendship Café is to create a welcoming and intergenerational space where everyone can build connections and support one another.
Through various activities such as, bingo, quizzes, singing, crafts, we strive to provide something for everyone.
Our goal is to enhance the overall well-being of our community by promoting a sense of belonging and friendship.
Come and say hello! It is free for everyone.
The Friendship Café runs every Thursday, 10am-12pm in the Dolphin’s Hall.
What we have been up to
Special Events: Throughout the year, we host themed community lunches, including highly popular celebrations for both VE Day and Christmas.
Trips & Outings: Our community connection extends beyond the café doors with regular group excursions to beautiful local spots like Westonbirt Arboretum, Highgrove, the theatre, and local garden centres.
Listening: We have been listening directly to our older residents to help shape local activities, promote inclusion, and expand volunteer participation.
